I started taking photos before the age of 10 with my mom’s camera and was instantly fascinated by the feeling of taking family photographs and especially with taking photos outdoors. Growing up in central Maine in the small town of Embden there were beautiful places to go and get lost taking pictures.
When in High School I took a photography class and was hooked for life. One assignment was to take some pictures of something that I found interesting, so I went to the old Muner house down the street from my house and snapped a few dozen photos. When I developed them with my teacher he loved them so much he had me make an 8 X 10 of all of them for his home.
Since then I have taken thousands of photos all my home state of Maine, New England, and even in the last few years traveled to Paris where I took hundreds and hundreds more photos.
I also enjoy taking photos at weddings, birthdays, holiday parties, portraits, even animal photos by bringing out the natural beauty in everyone and everything.
I live in the beautiful West End of Portland and have called Southern Maine home for nearly 20 years.
